Smoky Mountain 2019 New Summer Shows and Events

Just opened!  “NEW” Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show in Pigeon Forge!  Dolly Parton has done it again, and done it well! This show was launched in Myrtle Beach, SC and it did so well there, she has brought it home to Sevier County! The show is action packed, with lots of food for ya Matey’s ! Sue and I had the opportunity to see the new show and we loved it.  Of course the Stampede is also one of our favorites.  Just like the Stamped it keeps you entertained nonstop from beginning to end.  They have everything from Jugglers, acrobat artists, pirates, mermaids and even seals.  The dinner was very good as well.  More food than most can eat and tasty too!  We would definitely recommend it as a must see if you are in the area.  https://piratesvoyage.com/pigeon-forge/

Are you ready for this year’s Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales!  It is a good time to experience the walk-able town of Gatlinburg, TN. 2019 “Tunes & Tales is a summer-long street performance festival featuring costumed musical performers, storytellers and cloggers, portraying characters from time periods as far back as the 1800s. Dates: June 21, 2019 till August 3, Daily performances will be from 6 p.m. to 11p.m." https://www.gatlinburg.com/event/smoky-mountain-tunes-tales/

July 4th Celebration: get back to childhood with  Gatlinburg’s River Raft Regatta .  Sorry sailor, Gatlinburg’s River Raft Regatta is not an actual “all hands on deck!” sailing regatta. People are not allowed aboard the tiny water craft. The fun is in seeing whose floatable will make it to the finish line first. Registration begins at 10:00 am and the race starts 12:00 noon. The bridge at Christ in the Smokies on River Road is the starting point and the finish line is Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies.  If you have something that will float, you can enter it in the race. https://www.gatlinburg.com/event/gatlinburg-river-raft-regatta/
